As its name suggests, the Nike Air Max 93 was born in 1993 and was designed by Tinker Hatfield. The designer swoosh brand was inspired by the handle of a pitcher to give life to the model and find the idea to enlarge the air bubble.

The designer swoosh brand was inspired by the handle of a pitcher to give life to the model and find the idea to enlarge the air bubble. The Max Air unit of the AM93 was at the time the largest visible air bubble ever made by Nike. This earned him, in the beginning, the nickname of Air Max 270. The first color was the Menthol Blue which was a success. Since its release the Air Max 93 continues to seduce with colorways such as Flame Red, Dusty Cactus or Watermelon.
