Nike's highly anticipated Twist update for the
Dunk Low is set to release in 2023, injecting a fresh burst of energy into the iconic silhouette. In a time when other brands are enhancing the profiles of their classic designs,
Nike has followed suit by incorporating a chunkier aesthetic to its most hyped silhouette, the Dunk. The new Twist versions are guaranteed to catch your eye with their distinctive features, ensuring that you won't mistake them for any ordinary Nike Dunk. One notable colorway is the "
Jade Ice" which boasts an icy light blue hue, reminiscent of UNC-inspired make-ups from the past.
As we embark on the year 2023, it's evident that the Dunk continues to evolve and adapt with each update. The Chenille, Disrupt, and Rebel versions have already made their mark, but the Twist edition takes it a step further, introducing additional plastic components, extra padding, and a brand new
AMBUSH-style Swoosh. The twist continues with the incorporation of extra stabilizers on the toe and heel, which are among the most noticeable changes in this new model. Moving towards the back, the heel tab and inner lining now feature double padding, significantly enhancing comfort. The Dunk also receives a stylish touch with a 3D, semi-translucent Swoosh, adding movement to the overall design, a signature detail from Yoon Ahn's AMBUSH collaborations with Nike. And let's not forget the
Nike Futura logo mould that adorns the tongue, replacing the standard flat label with another
eye-catching 3D element that complements the tactile profile of the upper.
