American manufacturer New Balance continues to present us with interesting and thoughtful collabs. After an NB 992 reworked by retailer
DTLR VILLA, the Boston-based label unveils the 57/40 silhouette reimagined by Bricks & Wood. This New Balance 57/40 shoe marks the first ever collaboration between the two brands.
Bricks & Wood is a South Central Los Angeles-based label founded in 2014 by
Kacey Lynch. The LA label surprises via obvious quality and strong work around its logo. For proof, we notice hoodie, sweatshirt and sweatspant sets of very high quality, with fluffy shape and also hats that make it famous. Kacey Lynch's goal is to celebrate Black America, while paying homage to the style of his home area in Los Angeles. This special edition New Balance x Bricks & Wood is decked out in eye-catching colors and premium materials. It features a fir green pig suede upper with matching overlays. The iconic oversized side N logo appears in white leather accompanied by reflective finishes, as does the heel tab and small inserts scattered throughout the foot. Completing the look of the
New Balance 57/40 Bricks & Wood is a perforated tox box, a tonal tongue and two-tone green laces with white stippling. The design is completed with cream upper clips, a white midsole and a pink outsole.
